Ali “TheCre8or” Abbas has created three unique Wargaming.net casemods. For World of Tanks our case modder extraordinaire selected, appropriately enough, the Cougar Panzer MAX with its looks drawing inspiration from tank tracks. A Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX forms the foundation of the World of Warships Casemod, while a Dark Base Pro 900 from be quiet! was chosen for Total War Arena.

To create the camouflage paint for the World of Tanks casemod, Ali made a stencil out of wood glue and in the WoT as well as the World of Warship casemods, he even used various household items like clips and tubes. The casemods include some incredible detailing, such as the illuminated “sonar” screen, plenty of LED lighting (even going so far as to include a hazard light), and plenty of delicately crafted wooden pieces. The visual flourishes, like the weather effects, were either created by hand – or in some cases – even with the help of our in-house laser!

The casemods were up for grabs throughout December thanks to a variety of competitions run by Wargaming.net. Anyone who didn’t manage to bag one at the time and who would still dearly like to get their hands on a World of Tanks or World of Warships casemods should keep an eye on Wargaming.nets social media for a second chance to win.

The high-end gaming hardware integrated into the casemods are cooled with the help of custom watercooling and all three systems include the following hardware:

  • Intel Core i7-8700K in the “der8auer” Advanced Edition with 5,0 GHz OC
  • GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming graphics card from Gigabyte
  • 16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3000 memory (dual-channel)
  • 250 GB Samsung 960 EVO NVMe-SSD
  • 2 TB Seagate FireCuda hard drive
  • Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Ultra gaming motherboard

These components open the way for these three unique gaming PCs to play just about any game out there flawlessly, including VR games that demand complete immersion. The firepower under the hoods of these casemods is so extreme that World of Tanks and World of Warships can even be played at 4K/UHD resolution in max detail.
